This Relay Kit is designed to operate the Taurus and Lincoln Mark VIII 12 v 2 speed Electric fans. It comes in 3 versions: Basic with just the relays, second option is with a 180 degree temp sensor, third option is with a 180 degree and 195 degree sensor. Sensors are 3/8" pipe that screw into the head or manifold.

The Basic kit allows you to use your own sensors or a LSx [Gen. Mtrs. LS1, LS2 ...] PCM's or toggle switches. The second option has a 180 degree temperature switch that allows you to manually switch to high speed. The third is with both a 180 degree and a 195 degree temperature switch that allows for automatic switching from off to low to high and back to low to off.

This kit is designed to start on low and then step thru to high speed via the senor or toggle reducing the high amp spike created from starting the fan from a dead stop to high speed. When the temperature reaches 180 it turns fan on low speed if it reaches 195 then it steps thru to turn the fan on high speed. Since the fan is already moving it greatly reduces the spike at high speed start up.
