Restoration Services We Offer
We offer a wide range of restoration services from full frame off to repairing a door bottom. Customers come to us because in a world of generalists we are specialists in 1947 through 1959 Chevy series trucks. We started repairing these truck when they were considered used, not vintage, not old just a good used truck. With almost 50 year of experince specializing in a particular series of trucks we know the subtle differences in each year that most overlook when restoring a truck to original condition. We're not learning on your dime! We can be your behind the sences restoration shop for the items you would rather not attempt or just don't have the tools to do. From repairing a headlight opening to rebuilding a cab from the rocker panels up or a complete restoration no job is to small or to large.
Supplying you the right parts.
We don't just restore trucks we also provide parts for restoration and resto-mod applications. We have access to 80,000 stocking items that can be shipped from the warehouse closest to you to save you money. The parts we sell are the parts we use so you can be sure that they will fit your application. If you buy a part from us we can tell you how to install it and what other parts you may need to complete the task. . We know the subtle differences in each year that most overlook when restoring a truck to original condition. We also manufacture some of the parts we sell, Mark VIII cooling fan relay kits, Radiator hose adapters, power steering kits and disc brake kits for 3/4 ton and 1 ton Chevy or GMC. Return and Sales Policies
Q: I want to purchase items on your site but I don't have a credit card or PayPal. Do you take Money orders? A: Yes, we take USPS money orders. You would email us a list with your address and we will quote you the costs of parts and shipping. Include your phone number so we can give you exact totals for your money order. Q: What type or guarantee or warranty do your parts have. A: Warranty: THOROCO only warrants products it manufactures from defects for a period of 1 year from the sale date and does not warrant other manufacturer’s products. There is no warranty for miss use or miss application or modification of any product it sells and buyer will hold THOROCO harmless for any injury or damage caused by any product it sells. Warranty claims for other than THOROCO products must be resolved with that products manufacturer. THOROCO will assist in resolving any issues with any product it sells; buyer will hold THOROCO harmless if no resolution is reached with the original manufacturer. Q: What is your sales policy? A: Our sales policy is as follows;
Sales Policy Used items are “as-is” and not returnable. Large and heavy items: Ask for shipping cost on heavy or oversized items prior to buying the item. When asking for a shipping quote we need your city, state, zip code and if it’s a residence or business. Also it may be cheaper for you to pick up the item at the truck freight terminal so state if it’s a terminal pickup or address delivery. We will need a contact number for final arrangements after the sale for truck delivery.
Shipping Damage: We are not responsible for items damaged during shipping. IF YOU ACCEPT DELIVERY OF ANY DAMAGED FREIGHT AND FAIL TO NOTE IT ON THE FREIGHT BILL, YOU OWN THAT SHIPMENT AND YOU HAVE ABSOLVED THE FREIGHT LINE OF ANY AND ALL RESPONSIBILITY BY YOUR SIGNATURE. WE CAN'T MAKE A CLAIM FOR DAMAGE AND WE DON'T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR FREIGHT DAMAGE. We recommend that you make the driver wait until you inspect the shipment. If the box is pierced it may need to be inspected, if any of the items are damaged refuse the entire shipment, you cannot accept a partial shipment.
Return Policy: 30 day return on new products, special order items or custom built items excluded, new products must be returned in NEW condition unused resalable condition. Boxes, packing materials, wrappers, cartons, instruction manuals and products must be in their ORIGINAL condition without markings, tape, folds or defacing, cuts or tool marks .All products returned will be subject to a 15% minimum restocking fee. Products returned in damaged or unacceptable condition will be returned to the customer without exchange or refund. Condition will be assessed at the discretion of The Hollister Road Company (THOROCO). Blown fuses, breakers and relays are not returnable, burned up electrical and electronics are not returnable. Shipping is not refundable once you have received the shipment unless we have shipped you the wrong item(s). Cooling fan switches are not returnable once installed. USED Items are “as-is” and are only returnable if it specifically states “Returnable” in that items specific auction. For used items you are encouraged to ask as many questions as needed to get the description of the items you are bidding on. You should also ask for extra pictures for items or areas of concern. Returns that will not accepted and will be returned to you: Greasy boxes or parts, carburetors, fuel pumps or fuel devices with gas in them. It is hazardous to ship with gasoline still in them. Transmissions, gear boxes, rear ends not drained and cleaned of outside oils and grease. All returns must be accompanied with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). You may request an RMA by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org once granted you must ship prepaid with a tracking number and insured against damage. Shipping is calculated by the software and may be off from time to time. If you need a firm cost please call for the ship cost. Shipping is estimated by the lowest cost provider in the weight / size class of your item(s) Most all items are shipped within 24 hours but may take 48 hours on a special orders or custom built items. Any further delays you will be notified by email and or phone call as soon as we are aware of the delay. If certain types of carriers do not deliver to your address please advise prior to purchase. >
